Paul Metto's Bar

This project involved designing a signage package for an adults-only swim-up bar at Carowinds’ water park in Charlotte, North Carolina. Paul Metto’s Boathouse Bar is a playful nod to South Carolina’s state tree, the palmetto, and sets the tone for a laid-back place to grab a drink and unwind.

I created the signage package and branding, collaborating with the larger project team to support the overall look and feel of the space. The building design was created by Tyler Scrivner, whose concept helped shape the direction of the signage.

The signage draws inspiration from buoys and classic beachfront bars, using simple forms and relaxed visuals to reinforce the casual, coastal atmosphere.
